St. Patrick's is one of the world's most beautiful churches in one of the world's busiest  tourist meccas near MoMA, Radio City Music Hall, and Rockefeller Center.  Located between between 50th Street and 51st Street, St. Patrick's Cathedral is counted as one of the city's top 10 tourist destinations.  The seat of the Archdiocese of New York, St. Patrick's is the largest Catholic cathedral in the United States, built in the French Gothic style.  The Pieta is three times larger than the Michelangelo's Pietà.  The great rose window is one of Charles Connick's major works in stained glass. The astonishing St. Michael and St. Louis altars were designed by Tiffany & Company.  The St. Elizabeth altar was designed by Paolo Medici of Rome.
