What:	Macy's takes charge of the most spectacular 4th of July extravanza in New York City. Each year crowds form along the East River FDR Drive between 14th and 42nd Streets at what becomes an enormous block party. This year Macy's will launch from two additional sites: the Statue of LIberty and the South Street Seaport. Celebrations begin at 7:00 pm. Get there early to get the best seat, and bring whatever it is you need to sit upon -- chairs or a blanket.
